Concrete is a composite made of fine, coarse aggregate mixed with cement paste that hardens over time. Because of the cracks in the cement, which are combined with the aggregate, the tensile stress is weak, which leads to the destruction of the structure. To compensate for its weakness, concrete must be reinforced.  Reinforced concrete reinforces concrete such as rebar, steel fiber, glass fiber or plastic fiber to resist tensile loads.

Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete(SFRC) is concrete that contains steel fibers to increase tensile stress. Evenly distributed and randomly oriented steel fibers in short discrete forms within the concrete improve the durability and quality of the concrete.
